Live tango band for milongas and tango festivals
We play milongas, tango festivals, encuentros and marathons in Poland and across Europe.
A milonga with a live orchestra has a different energy from recordings. Cuarteto Re!Tango – bandoneon, violin, piano and double bass – plays for dancers: a clear pulse, a full sound often compared to an orquesta típica and a faithful golden-age style.
We play at leading Polish tango festivals and at milongas in Germany. Organisers invite us back, and dancers don’t want to leave the floor.

A repertoire for dancers
We play traditional golden-age tango: tangos, valses and milongas in arrangements that keep the dance pulse from the first bar to the last. The music is played in tandas – just as dancers know them from milongas.
Our repertoire also includes classic Polish tangos arranged in the Argentine style – a distinctive touch that works well at festivals.

Questions from organisers
Do you play abroad?
Yes. We have played in Germany, Norway, Czechia, Latvia and Switzerland. We travel to festivals and milongas across Europe – ask about your date.
Can you combine a concert with a milonga?
Yes. At many festivals we play an evening concert followed by a milonga set. We adapt the programme to your event.
Do you perform with a singer?
Yes. We recorded the album CANTANGO with Argentine singer Martín Troncozo and perform together live. We also work with Polish vocalists.
